Abstract

The initial response to the site with jagged forms and ragged outlines is exploited by the spatial qualities that these elements offer when the enclave is viewed from ground eye level. Next was the formidable task of preserving the excitement of the consequential spatial quality when accommodating functions that require partitions or screening. This is solved in the scheme by sinking the ground as well as designing partitions and screens as supporting elements to the composition while keeping it unobtrusive enough for preserving the openness of the original concept when the scheme is viewed from afar. The haphazard placement of the jagged forms surrounding the flag pole represents the struggle to uphold and protect the harmonious living condition of the nation.
