Abstract

The scheme portrays a harmonious Mondrianesque, a 3-dimensional composition from repetitive squares. The composition forms a suitably neutralised setting in relation to the surrounding built environment despite its morphological gymnastics at the edge of Dataran Merdeka. The spaces accommodated within the composition have very casual, airy and liberating feel about them with weather elements being taken care by the strategic placement of planes as shields and for shelter. The squareness of the composition consequently frame the view of its surroundings from the spaces within.
