Abstract

This landscape proposal connects efficiently landscape spaces in a network within a green area. Extensive green area networks are provided within the building and working spaces. For example, a linear park is introduced between the northern research area and the southern information and technology area, the park provides circulation, recreation and interaction purposes. Beautiful green scenery from the impressive linear park can be observed and appreciated from the building. The serenity concept of the green network tries to create and provide comfort and calmness with elements of aesthetical, functional and visual qualities. In order to achieve the goals and objectives of this study, circulation spaces for pedestrian are provided to became linkage within one space to another. This could increase the awareness of clean and fresh green area without any pollution. The green network can be realised by preserving and minimising damages to the natural topography due to sensitive surrounding environment. The effectiveness of the development can be enhanced if vehicular volume is minimised despite having a vehicular circulation. Other types of transportation mode such as solar, battery-powered or manually-controlled vehicles are highly recommended.
