Abstract

In Projects 3 and 4, students explored the meaning of materials and objects reacting to new codification of matter. Materials and objects are considered reflective experience of self interpretations and visual representations. The materials conjuring message of new meaning about ‘thing’ and its systems. It is a process of knowing ‘thing’ and transforming the transition to objects ‘from what they don’t expect’ to ‘something expected’. It is a discovery of consciousness to unconsciousness by giving the idea a place on the map of exterior processes. The discovery process innervates further conscious contradictions. The work is an intellectual construction of artistic experiences from selected ‘thing’ developed into the mind. Thereby, creating an analytical reflection that involved an activity of understanding. In other words, consciousness is obtained by turning ‘thing’ into ‘something’. The project was executed through a combination of media technology and ‘discovery of experience’. Students had built a new dimension of meaning and spaces to an ideal significance.
